Sanctuaries

ANIMAL SANCTUARIES AND RESCUE GROUPS
Sunny Meadow Sanctuary
Barre, MA
Sunny Meadow is a safe haven for rescued farm animals. Each and every farm animal at Sunny Meadow was spared from going to a slaughterhouse and is now living a peaceful, happy life. Sunny Meadow Sanctuary is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Maple Farm Sanctuary
101 North Avenue, Mendon, MA  01756
Maple Farm Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary providing lifelong homes for abused, abandoned, and unwanted farmed animals while promoting veganism and respect for all life through public information. Maple Farm Sanctuary has taken in a fraction of the billions of farmed animals that are bought, sold, tormented and slaughtered by the meat, dairy and fur industries.

New England Primate Sanctuary
Merrimac, MA
Dedicated to humane education, the care and protection of animals, and habitat conservation, NEPS is a vehicle for education for people and a safe haven for animals. Our farm animal sanctuary, NEPS Farm, gives farm animals the rare privilege of happily growing old. Our ultimate goal is to provide lifelong care to captive monkeys that are retired from entertainment or research, or ex-pets.

Turtle Rescue League
Located in southern central Mass.
We are a non-profit organization with a dedicated staff and members from all across the USA, committed to helping turtles, including the adoption of rescued turtles. We educate people about what to do if you find a turtle in the road, in your yard, or an injured turtle. Our sanctuary currently houses and rehabilitates 20 turtles of varying species.
