The Berkshire Vegan Network strives to educate, inspire, and empower thinking people to shift towards a plant-based diet, and to take compassionate action for all life on the planet.
The BVA is dedicated to educating the public and its volunteers about veganism and animal rights advocacy, toward the end of abolishing all forms of animal use.
Boston Vegetarian Society (BVS)
The BVS seeks to help people, animals, and the environment by promoting a vegetarian way of life. We provide education, community, and outreach to encourage healthy plant-based eating and compassionate, earth-friendly living.
Cape Cod Vegetarians (CCV)
CCV is an all-volunteer, tax exempt, nonprofit organization founded in 1990 by local Cape Cod residents. Our goal is to educate people to the benefits of vegetarianism and the many issues surrounding our food choices.
Massachusetts Animal Rights Coalition (MARC)
MARC is a volunteer group that works to end suffering for all animals: farmed animals, animals in laboratories and entertainment, companion animals, fur animals and other wildlife. MARC is the largest and most active animal rights group in Massachusetts, with over 3500 members.
Founded in 1895, NEAVS is a Boston-based, national animal advocacy organization dedicated to replacing animal experiments with modern alternatives that are ethically, humanely, and scientifically superior. Through research, outreach, education, legislation, policy change, and legal action, NEAVS advocates for animals in laboratories, product testing, and science classes at all levels.
VegWorcester is a not-for-profit community organization that advocates vegetarian living to the population of Central Massachusetts. We organize educational events around veganism, animal rights, and the environmental impact of meat production. Our projects include a restaurant outreach program, a vegetarian dining guide, outreach in local schools and colleges, free veg starter kit literature stands throughout the city, a monthly social meetup, and organizing a vegetarian festival.
Western Mass Animal Rights Advocates (WMARA)
WMARA is a local grassroots animal rights group that meets monthly in Florence, MA to discuss issues and plan events to educate and promote animal-friendly lifestyles. We hold peaceful demonstrations and educational/outreach events. Our mission is to end the suffering of all animals through activism, education, legislation, networking and collaboration.
