Countdown to VegFest!

Back in 2011, the very first Worcester VegFest was held. The organizers had no idea how many people would show up. To their surprise, a throng of 2,000 packed Worcester State University, making the inaugural event an unqualified hit. Since then, the numbers have grown steadily and dramatically. The 3,000 in 2012 became 5,000 in 2013, which became 7,000 in 2014 at the DCU Center.

While there's no telling how many will attend this year, what's certain is that it will be a huge event—and one you don't want to miss if you have any interest at all in veganism or vegetarianism. Now renamed New England VegFest, to reflect its size and regional influence, the 2015 version is being held this Sunday, April 26 from 11:am -5:00pm at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St., Worcester, MA.
